How to make a payment

We provide five standard methods to pay for our services.

Please be advised that for all methods of payment the transport fee must be fully paid PRIOR to the actual delivery of the shipment. Of course, this does not apply to cash on delivery shipments where the transport fee is to be paid directly to the driver.

We reserve the right to not deliver the shipment as long as payment is not made in full pursuant to the preceding section.

In the event that delivery is delayed due to late payment of the transport fee, the shipment will be delivered on the next working day after the day when the payment is made in full (this applies only from the UK to the Czech Republic or Slovakia).

1. Payment in cash upon shipment.

The customer pays the shipping fee directly to the driver upon consigning the shipment.

This applies only for the payment of transport fees on shipments from the UK to the Czech Republic or Slovakia. It is not possible in the other direction, and the driver will accept no money from you.

2. Credit or debit card.

The driver will take the necessary information from your payment card, or we can contact you by phone prior to delivery of the shipment and conduct the payment in real time by entering the data into our terminal.

For transport from the Czech Republic or Slovakia to the UK, payment via payment card may only be made by telephone and prior to delivery to the recipient. No later than the day prior to delivery, we will contact you and the payment will take place in real time via entry of the necessary data into our payment terminal.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Solo. We do not accept American Express. Credit and debit card payments are subject to a 2.9% surcharge.

Please be advised that the drivers do not carry payment card terminals.

3. Cash payment on delivery.

The customer pays the shipping fee directly to the driver upon receipt of the shipment. Only the national currency of the delivery country is accepted (Czech koruna in the Czech Republic, euros in Slovakia and pounds sterling in the UK). No other currencies are accepted!

Beginning 1 January 2012, we do charge a 3 GBP fee for cash on delivery in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

For transport from the UK to the Czech Republic, the transport fee will be calculated in Czech koruna according to the ECB (European Central Bank) exchange rate valid for the day prior to the pick-up of the shipment from the sender. This rate will be increased by 6.5% to cover exchange rate differences and the transfer of funds back to the UK.

For transport from the UK to Slovakia, the transport fee will be calculated in EURO according to the ECB (European Central Bank) exchange rate valid for the day prior to the pick-up of the shipment from the sender. This rate will be increased by 6.5% to cover exchange rate differences and the transfer of funds back to the UK.

For parcel transport from the Czech Republic or Slovakia to the UK, the transport fee shall be paid in pounds sterling and will be finalised upon delivery of the parcels to our London depot, after they are re-weighed and their true weight determined.

4. Bank transfer to UK, CZE or SVK account.

Beginning 1 January 2012, it's possible to make the payment by bank transfer to CZK account denominated in Czech crowns and to SVK account denominated in EURO. This is only allowed for transports from the UK do Czech Republic and Slovakia. For transports from the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the UK is only possible to make the bank transfer to the UK account.
